The Mauryan Empire of India (321-233bce)
When we read about empires that are divide, we see that when they are united they are strong, when they are divided they become weak. India was no different than past empires such as Upper and Lower Egypt, Athens and Spartans, divided they were all weak. When the first Aryans came to India they built lots of different cities all with there own kings. Chapter 31 one is about a family that wanted to unit each individual kingdom.
