5,000 Awesome Facts Book

My kids absolutely love National Geographic Kids 5,000 Awesome Facts About Everything.  They could sit for hours just pouring over the pictures and reading the facts.

Today my Charlie Brown was talking about peanut butter and how it is made.  Pretty soon he leaves the room and comes back with the 5,000 facts book and starts reading facts about peanuts to me. Such as, you need about 540 peanuts to make a 12 ounce jar of peanut butter.  I was impressed that he remembered there was a page on peanuts.

Other interesting facts include Asia, plants, monkeys, horses, sleep, Europe, coral reefs, the Olympics, mammals and so much more.  If you have kids that love facts, I would recommend this book.

Next on our list is book #2 of 5,000 Awesome Facts. If any of you have looked through it, I would love your feed back.  I'm guessing it is as great as the first one.

Other books in the series include:
             Ultimate Weird but True

My kids love to quiz their friends down because they are interested in what their friends are learning and they like to share what they have learned.  So I thought this next book would be something my kids would enjoy.

Be sure and check out the rest of National Geographic Kids books.
