Our first Little Passports World Addition delivery! My kids were super excited to see what was in the box. They were a little impatient with me for demanding to take pictures before I would let them open it. They had waited for a few weeks for it to be delivered. Lucky for them, it arrived 3 days early.
Included in this fun shipment is a cute little suitcase to keep all their treasures in. It is just the right size to have fun packing it around. My kids can hardly wait until next month to see what new treasure they will receive from Little Passports. I love that a fun little box is included to keep all their little trinkets in. There is nothing as annoying as finding trinkets scattered around the house.
Inside the box was their own passport to keep track of places they will learn about. Hopefully they don't fight over it since there is only one.
Chlobug was excited to look in the passport. Included is a section to list 3 countries you would like to visit and what you would
like to do in those countries. There are plenty of blank pages for country stamps.
Rybug was excited to explore the included map. Each month they receive information on a new country. They will locate and mark that country on the map. What a great way to learn geography. They will also place a country sticker in their passport.
Also included in the box was a welcome message and a letter from Sam and Sofia, whom they will be following on their journey. Each monthly package will include a letter, activity sheets, stickers and photos. This months activity included a fun game of figuring out how to say hello in different languages. My kids have been walking around say bonjour, nihao, konnichiwa, ciao, and hola for the past few days.
A new boarding pass will be issued each month that can be attached to the suitcase handle. Included on the boarding pass are special codes to unlock online games and activities. We haven't tried those yet, as I just found that out as I was typing about the boarding pass.
A souvenir from each destination will show up monthly. I'm excited to see what next month will bring. It is so fun watching my kiddos get excited for something to come in the mail for them and even better that it is a learning tool. This is really geared towards the younger children. My oldest who is almost 14 was only a little interested to see what was in the box. My 11 year was excited, but not as near as much as my youngers.
I ordered the World Addition which is recommended for ages 6-10. If you are looking for a fun way to introduce world culture and geography to your homeschool day, this is such a great and fun way to do it. If you want to encourage learning during the summer months when your kids are out of school, this is also a great way to do it.
Little Passports also offers Science Expeditions, Early Explores, and USA Edition. Check out their website to see which one will work for your family.
