Story of the World Vol 1 Ch 9

The First Cities of India (2000 - 1750 BCE)

We really liked chapter 9 and enjoyed taking it further by researching Mohenjo-Daro beyond what the chapter includes. My kids were so curious about what why Mohenjo-Daro disappeared.   Mohenjo-Daro was an advanced city for its time with toilets and drains and a sewage systems and buildings populated by thousands of people.  The town disappeared suddenly, but why? Natural disaster, enemy invasion? No one really knows. This mystery city was abandoned around 1750 bce and finally rediscovered in 1922.

Do you have anything to add to chapter 9? I would love to hear how your family studied this chapter.
